Description:
This game was made independent of Wikipedia and
does not represent Wikipedia or its interests. This game was
developed for educational purposes only.
The idea for this game came from a couple of
friends who, when bored, would challenge each other to link two seemingly
unrelated Wikipedia articles by only clicking on links within the articles. I
took this idea and developed it into a game with themed elements.
For the full details on this game - how it works, and how playtests
affected its development - click the PDF icon above and view the game
document.
Gameplay Example:
1) Roll the "person, place, or thing" dice (blue is for the start
article, red is for the end article).
2) Your opponent decides what the start and end articles are based on the
outcome of your roll.
3) Link the articles with the least number of clicks.
4) Restarting from the beginning or spending more than 60 seconds on an
article page results in one "click" added to the total.
5) The player with the lowest total wins the round; the player who wins
the most rounds out of five wins the game! |
